Now in its 10th year, the purpose of the annual Forum on women and homelessness is to:

  • Identify and talk about the key challenges that the sector is experiencing
  • Bring together experts to provide relevant advice and updates on issues
  • Provide a platform for improved collaboration on issues
  • Share new ideas that can be leveraged to improve the lives of the women that have become or are about to become homeless

The Annual Forum is a sector driven event that is developed each year by a joint Working Group Committee comprising representatives from Office for Women, Centacare, QShelter, DVConnect, Micah Project Inc., Queensland Health and the Department of Housing and Public Works and The Lady Musgrave Trust.
