A safe way home – navigating the pathway out of homelessness and building a better future.

Since 1885, The Lady Musgrave Trust has housed young women and their children who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness across our State. This remains our mission until a time when all women live in safety in Queensland.

This year’s sell-out Annual Forum was hugely successful. Focusing on how can women get to a safer home?

Together, we looked beyond the traditional constraints, silos and red tape to see what’s possible, what’s working, and most importantly, how we can continue the work.

With this lens, we refocused our attention on the outcome we’re all so passionate about – solving homelessness for women in Queensland.

In the 2023 Forum on Women and Homelessness, we discussed:

  • What works and why?
  • How effective initiatives can be replicated or scaled for greater impact
  • Unpacking the successful projects that have grown from a community response
  • Analysing the innovative activity in the sector
  • Exploring systems and investment reform that impact the path to homelessness
Thank you for joining us at the 15th Women and Homelessness Forum on 2 August 2023. We’ll be uploading the sessions here as they become available so that you rewatch or catch up on this year’s discussion.
